Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions LLC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Charlotte, NC. This contract role is on‑site, with a 32–40 hour workweek, typically 2–3 weekdays and every other weekend, plus occasional holiday coverage and a 3‑week training period.

The role involves patient assessments, medication administration, clinical testing, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required.
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience required.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point‑of‑care testing
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions
• Perform mental health screenings, including assessments for depression, mood, behavior, and cognitive function
• Provide patient education related to self‑care and disease management
• Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked clinic environment
