Job summary

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an outpatient clinic in Richmond, VA. On-site, part-time schedule (approximately 32–40 hours/week) with a 6‑week planning block and 3 weeks of training.

The role includes patient assessments, medication administration, and EMR documentation. Requires active LPN/LVN license, BLS, and 1+ year healthcare experience; Epic EMR is a preferred tool.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN/LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Identify and document abnormalities in blood pressure, heart rate, respiratory rate, and temperature.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and document clinical findings.
• Perform or assist with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point‑of‑care testing.
• Document patient medical history, medications, allergies, surgeries, and other relevant information in the EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and identify potential side effects or drug interactions.
• Provide patient education related to self‑care and disease management.
• Help connect patients with appropriate healthcare and community resources.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked clinic environment.
