Job summary

A-Line Staffing Solutions is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an Outpatient Clinic in Midlothian, VA. This contract role provides patient-facing clinical care, including patient assessments, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team to support positive outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an active LPN/LVN license, current BLS, and 1+ year of ambulatory care experience.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPN or LVN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• 1+ year of related healthcare experience.
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, Epic EMR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, injectable, intravenous, and topical medications.
• Perform routine patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Document patient medical history, medications, and allergies in EMR.
• Conduct medication reviews and monitor for interactions and side effects.
• Provide patient education on self-care and disease management.
• Assist with phlebotomy, vaccines, and point-of-care testing.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinic environment.
