Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Hawaii is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Kona Medical Offices in Kailua. In this outpatient setting you will provide direct and indirect nursing care under supervision, contributing to high-quality patient care and safety.

You will review and prepare medical records, administer vaccines and medications as prescribed, document responses in the EHR, and collaborate with RNs and Practitioners to revise plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (Hawaii) required.
• Hawaii LPN licensure and BLS.
• Experience in outpatient clinic preferred.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care in outpatient setting.
• Review medical records and prepare orders for practitioner authorization.
• Administer treatments, immunizations, and medications per plan.
• Document patient data and care interventions in EHR.
• Coordinate with RN/Practitioner on care plans and referrals.
