UHC United Hospital Center in West Virginia is seeking an LPN to support physicians and provide direct nursing care in an outpatient setting. You will screen patients and serve as the primary medical contact, following standards of care and practice.

Responsibilities include administering IM, subcutaneous, and oral medications, assisting with examinations, recording vital signs, and coordinating with the Provider and RN to ensure efficient clinic visits for patients and families.

Formación

• Current LPN license issued by the state or multi-state LPN license via eNLC.
• BLS certification obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient medical office setting.
• Administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, and oral medications as ordered.
• Consults with the Provider or RN to guide care delivery.
• Records patient data and communicates concerns to the physician promptly.
• Assists Providers and RN with examinations and procedures as assigned.
• Maintains cost-effective use of supplies and supports clinic operations.

Educación

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
