Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an LPN to provide patient-centered nursing care in an outpatient behavioral health clinic in Charlotte. The position is part-time/PRN with day shifts, Monday–Friday, and requires relaxing within the clinic schedule.

Responsibilities include vital signs, specimen collection, assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications, and coordinating follow-up care. LPN licensure and BLS are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved Practical Nursing program.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state where the team member practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification needed within 45 days unless exempt.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain vital signs and update medical information.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab testing per infection control standards.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures and minor surgeries.
• Administer medications, immunizations, injections, and IV therapy as permitted.
• Educate patients and coordinate follow-up care, referrals and prescriptions.
