Job summary

Advocate Health’s Behavioral Health team in Charlotte is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for day shift. This full-time role supports exams, administers medications, and assists physicians under supervision.

Requires completion of an approved Practical Nursing program and current LPN license; BLS certification within 45 days; no prior experience required. The position offers a 40-hour work week, benefits eligibility, and a pay range of $24.10 to $36.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organization, prioritization and problem solving skills.
• Proficient computer skills including keyboarding, navigating Windows OS, and using EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam by obtaining vital signs and documenting health information.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries under supervision.
• Administers medications under orders, including vaccines, antibiotics, pain medications, and injections.
