Job summary

Atrium Health is seeking an LPN for an outpatient clinic in Concord, NC. The successful candidate will assist with patient intake, vitals, and clerical tasks while supporting physicians during exams and procedures.

Responsibilities include administering medications, performing routine lab work, and providing patient education. The role requires an active LPN license in the state and BLS certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA) within 45 days if required.
• Completion of an accredited or approved Practical Nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and rooms the patient for exam, records vital signs and health information.
• Performs laboratory procedures using aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Assists physicians with procedures and surgeries as needed.
• Administers medications under orders, including immunizations and IV therapy when appropriate.
• Provides patient education and coordinates referrals and follow-ups.
