Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related field.
• Minimum of four years of related, full-time equivalent experience.
• Requires State of Virginia licensure as a Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counselor.
• Employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and clinical services of outpatient units.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision and leadership to senior clinicians.
• Guide clinicians in risk management strategies, crisis intervention, and escalation of care for safety concerns.
• Monitor budget, payroll, workflows, and supervision requirements; complete annual evaluations and progressive discipline as needed.
• Coordinate program services with internal and external partners and track KPIs.
