Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Lab Outreach Supervisor to oversee outpatient lab staff and daily PSC operations. You will ensure safe, convenient specimen collection and maintain a high standard of service across locations.

The role includes supervising phlebotomists, collaborating with Regional HR, and achieving patient satisfaction and safety metrics while ensuring regulatory compliance. Frequent travel to patient service centers is required.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree required; Masters preferred.
• Minimum 2 years phlebotomy experience; 3 years progress with leadership development plan.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology; proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Supervises outpatient lab phlebotomists/front line employees for assigned team.
• Works with Regional Manager on HR activities (development, coaching, councils, discipline, employee rounding, communications, performance reviews).
• Responsible for setup, daily operations, and site performance for PSCs in assigned territory.
• Meets performance metrics related to Patient Satisfaction, Employee Engagement, and Quality for assigned territory.
• Troubleshoots equipment, patient and staff issues; conducts service recovery as needed with leadership support.
