Job summary

Healthcare United is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine Physician for a full-time role in the Wethersfield area, Connecticut. Practice outpatient internal medicine while helping residents develop clinical judgment and continuity-of-care skills.

Eight clinic half-days weekly plus academic time, with ~five inpatient weekends yearly and infrequent call; includes a supportive team with several clinical staff, Epic/Dragon EMR, and patient portal access.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credentialed in Internal Medicine.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in Internal Medicine.
• Connecticut medical license or eligibility.
• Faculty experience preferred.
• Current CV required.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient internal medicine in an academic setting.
• Contribute to curriculum, quality improvement, and scholarly activity.
• Inpatient coverage on approximately five weekends annually.
• Maintain continuity of care and support residents' clinical judgment.
