Job summary

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine physician for a full-time outpatient, academic primary care position in the Berlin Area, Connecticut. The role includes managing a patient panel and teaching residents in a university-affiliated setting.

We offer a weekday schedule with a protected administrative half-day weekly, back-up phone call rotations, and strong support from residents and faculty. A Connecticut license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO credential required.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine required.
• Unrestricted Connecticut medical license or eligibility.
• Outpatient resident-teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel and teach residents in an outpatient academic primary care setting.
• Precept residents in the afternoon and coordinate with faculty.
• Participate in curriculum, quality improvement, and academic leadership activities.
