Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking an Internal Medicine Faculty Physician for an outpatient academic practice in Hartford, CT. You will work with UCONN Internal Medicine residents in a community health clinic, teaching and supervising during clinical shifts in a 100% academic setting.

The role features a full-time schedule with leadership and faculty responsibilities, loan repayment support, a sign-on bonus, relocation stipend, and guaranteed base salary.

Qualifications

• Connecticut Medical License is required.
• Board eligibility or board certification in Internal Medicine is required.

Responsibilities

Faculty Position Details

• Role: Faculty position in Outpatient Academic Practice with UCONN Internal Medicine Residents
• Location: Hartford, CT
• Setting: Hartford Region, 100% Academic Clinic-based, outpatient internal medicine working with our residents in the community health clinic
• Schedule: Full-time (10 hours per week leadership, 30 hours per week faculty practice)
• Phone Call Only: back-up resident coverage only
• Other compensation: Guaranteed base salary, Loan repayment support, Sign-on bonus, Relocation stipend

Faculty Practice Scope: (100%)

• Outpatient internal medicine working with our residents in the community health clinic
• Opportunity to integrate education of residents and quality improvement initiatives into clinical shifts
