Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician in the New York area for a 100% outpatient practice with flexible hours from Monday to Friday and no on-call requirements.

The candidate will join a physician-led, long-standing group with locations throughout Long Island, offering a highly competitive compensation package of $300K–$500K per year and strong support for clinical and administrative roles.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with active or eligible board certification in Internal Medicine.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in New York.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to grow a patient base.
• Experience with value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key clinical provider in the delivery of high-quality care.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments including history taking and physical examinations.
• Order and interpret lab results and other diagnostic tests.
• Create and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Provide clear communication and education to patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive strategies.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the EMR system.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide clinical oversight to nurses, technologists, and support staff within the practice.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA, NYS DOH, CMS, and relevant payer guidelines.
• Participate in population health initiatives and support ongoing quality improvement projects.
• Contribute to the development of a sustainable patient panel aligned with practice growth objectives.
