Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the C/P-Imaging-Clinic-NC team. The RN will collaborate with technologists and staff in a fast-paced outpatient imaging setting, assisting with ports, IVs, and acute events.

Schedule features 3 12-hour shifts (6:30am–7pm) with Saturdays as needed. The role emphasizes nursing assessments, care planning, and documentation aligned with professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs.
• Initiates and revises the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and health team.
• Implements the plan of care, coordinates care, delegates appropriately, and communicates patient status to the team.
• Evaluates patient progress and teaching effectiveness; revises plan as needed.
• Documents assessments, plans, interventions and outcomes in the patient record in a timely manner.
• Contributes to quality improvement and supports clinical education and mentoring of staff.
