Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Technician for our Cardio and Radiology Endo Svcs team. This full-time role covers day shift 6:00am–4:30pm, involving patient prep, monitoring, and basic nursing tasks in a fast-paced setting.

The position emphasizes collaboration with clinicians and support staff to ensure quality patient care, accurate documentation, and smooth unit operations. Differential pay applies for weekends and nights where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in state of practice required for new hires and transfers.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic hygiene.
• Monitor vital signs and assist with EKG monitoring as needed.
• Transport patients during admissions and discharges.
• Maintain complete patient records and assist with clerical duties.
• Support unit operations and communicate changes to the care team.
