Job summary

Banner Health seeks a Radiology Technologist for the Phoenix area to perform specialized radiographic procedures in a dynamic operative setting. The role supports imaging for inpatients, outpatients, and surgical clinics, with opportunities to cross-train into other modalities.

The position requires ARRT certification, radiologic technology credentials, and BLS; two years of related experience is preferred. This is a full-time weekend position with two shift options and weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Requires national certification American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable.
• BLS certification is required.
• Two years of related experience recommended or required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgical procedures by setting up imaging cart and coordinating with OR team.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and ensure professional conduct.
• Perform prescribed radiographic procedures per department policies and ARRT/MRTBE guidelines.
• Use specialty equipment (Hybrid OR, O‑Arm, C‑Arms, Mini C‑Arms) and maintain infection control.
