Job summary

The Wonderful Company LLC is seeking a Staff Physician (IM/FM) for a 100% outpatient practice in Lost Hills/Delano, CA. This full-time role emphasizes prevention and cardiometabolic care, with relocation assistance available and a competitive annual salary.

You will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver longitudinal care, manage obesity and diabetes, and support patient-centered outcomes in a high-volume outpatient setting. Onsite work with no evening/weekend calls is expected.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred.
• Current or eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain registration.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Experience providing outpatient primary care strongly preferred.
• Experience managing obesity, diabetes, and other cardiometabolic conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality outpatient primary care with preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose and treat obesity and cardiometabolic conditions (diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia).
• Develop individualized treatment plans and support patient self-management.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team to improve outcomes and continuity.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, behavioral health, physical therapy, and health coaches.
