The Wonderful Company is seeking a Staff Physician (IM/FM) for a 100% outpatient practice in California’s Central Valley, with relocation assistance. You will provide preventive and chronic care for a diverse patient population alongside a multidisciplinary team, treating obesity and cardiometabolic conditions.

This onsite role requires an MD/DO, CA licensure, and BLS. Expect ~16 patients/day, no evening/weekend calls, and supportive benefits including relocation and professional growth

Formación

• Strong clinical knowledge of adult primary care and preventive medicine.
• Experience in obesity, diabetes, and cardiometabolic disease management.
• Commitment to improving health outcomes for populations with high chronic disease burden.
• Ability to engage patients in shared decision-making and long-term management.
• Experience in an integrated, multidisciplinary care model.
• Spanish language fluency preferred; medical Spanish valued.
• Proficiency with standard workplace technology and EMR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based primary care including preventive and chronic disease management.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage obesity and related cardiometabolic diseases.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with patient involvement.
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary clinical team for better outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, behavioral health, and other staff.
• Support clinical quality improvement and population health initiatives.
• Review data to identify opportunities to improve care quality.
• Coordinate referrals, follow-up, and access to services.
• Maintain timely medical documentation and regulatory compliance.
• See approximately 16 patients per day in a 100% outpatient setting; no evening/weekend call.
