Job summary

Phoenix Children's is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse for our Outpatient Hemodialysis clinic. The clinic operates from 6 AM to 5 PM and serves multiple patients daily in a high-volume setting.

Ideal candidates have dialysis experience, RN inpatient experience, or HD CCHT, with preference for experience on Fresenius 2008 T machines. On-call duties and weekend differential apply; collaboration with the healthcare team is essential to deliver exceptional pediatric nursing care.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of dialysis experience or 2 years RN inpatient experience or 1 year RN experience with HD CCHT (Tech) experience to be considered.
• Experience with Fresenius 2008 T machines highly preferred.
• Call responsibilities required; on call and weekend differential apply.

Responsibilities

• Completes nursing assessment of patient conditions across age groups to determine initial level of treatment plan compliance.
• Monitors patient responses to care, documents progress, and communicates with care team and families.
• Ensures compliance with medication, storage, and documentation standards and regulations.
• Provides orientation to unit policies to patients and families; supports processes and systems awareness.
• Supervises care activities of assigned team members and provides feedback to ensure safety and quality care.
• Collaborates with care team and families to implement and adjust the plan of care; participates in rounds and conferences.
