Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ seeks an experienced Clinical Nurse for our Outpatient Hemodialysis clinic. The role focuses on patient education and direct care for children undergoing dialysis, with clinic hours from 6 AM to 5 PM and on-call responsibilities.

Candidates should have at least 1 year of dialysis experience or 2 years RN inpatient experience or 1 year RN with HD CCHT; Fresenius 2008 T familiarity is preferred. New grads are not eligible.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of dialysis experience or 2 years RN inpatient experience or 1 year RN experience with HD CCHT experience.
• Fresenius 2008 T machine experience highly preferred.
• Call responsibilities required; on-call and weekend differential apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessments appropriate to patient age and condition to determine initial treatment plan compliance.
• Document patient progress and share observations with care team and families.
• Supervise and delegate patient care activities to ensure safety and adherence to standards.
• Provide unit and hospital system orientation to patients and families.
• Collaborate with care team to implement and adjust the plan of care.
• Support learning and mentorship for students and new staff.
• Perform other duties as required.
