Job summary

Phoenix Children's is hiring an experienced Clinical Nurse for our Outpatient Hemodialysis clinic! The clinic operates 6 AM - 5 PM with a capacity of four patients at a time. Nurses provide education and care to children who return several times a week for treatment.

Applicants must have at least 1 year of dialysis experience or 2 years RN inpatient experience or 1 year RN with HD CCHT. Fresenius 2008 T machines experience is highly preferred. On-call and weekend differential apply.

Qualifications

• RN license in Arizona or compact state preferred.
• Dialysis experience required: 1 year minimum or 2 years RN inpatient experience.
• HD CCHT experience acceptable.
• Fresenius 2008 T machines experience highly preferred.
• On-call and weekend differential apply.

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment aligned with age and condition to determine treatment plan adherence.
• Monitor and document patient responses; communicate with care team and families.
• Ensure medication, storage and documentation standards compliance.
• Provide orientation to unit policies and procedures for patients and families.
• Supervise care activities and provide feedback to maintain patient safety and infection control.
• Collaborate with care team to implement and adjust care plans.
• Mentor students and new staff; share knowledge and best practices.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as requested.
