Job summary

UT MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas is seeking a Clinical Nurse for the Genitourinary Cancer Center outpatient team. The ideal candidate is a licensed RN with at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient setting, and GU care/procedural experience is highly preferred; oncology experience is a plus.

Shift is Monday–Friday days at Texas Medical Center with salary range $68,000 to $142,500 and comprehensive benefits. Onsite work location is Texas Medical Center in Houston.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Texas with current license.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience; outpatient preferred.
• GU care or procedural experience highly preferred; oncology a plus.
• BLS/CPR certification; ACLS/PALS when required by department.

Responsibilities

• Participates in daily unit operations to achieve and maintain financial goals with resources.
• Provides quality and fiscally responsible patient care.
• Anticipates patient and family needs with the Charge Nurse and Nurse Manager.
• Uses resources responsibly for direct patient care.
• Participates in change initiatives and mentoring; complies with standards.
• Assesses and coordinates delivery of safe, evidence-based patient care.
• Provides performance feedback to nursing leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.
