UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas seeks an Oncology Nursing Supervisor for the Genitourinary Cancer Clinic to oversee daily patient care, supervise nursing staff, and ensure delivery of high-quality care. The role includes developing standards and leading team collaboration in a busy clinical environment.

The ideal candidate holds an ADN with RN licensure and BLS certification, plus 5 years of nursing experience including supervision. A BSN is preferred, with oncology exposure welcomed.

Formación

• Graduate of an approved nursing program with an ADN.
• RN licensure by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• 5 years of general nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees and teaches specialized knowledge and skills in the area of specialty.
• Provides operational management of daily patient care services.
• Assesses, monitors, and evaluates systems for delivery of care.
• Assists in development of patient care standards of practice and personnel performance.
• Designs and delivers internal controls compliant with laws and policies.
• Facilitates teamwork through workshops, seminars and staff meetings.
• Supervises nursing staff and other support personnel.
• May provide direct patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
