Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking an experienced Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Genitourinary (Urology) Department within the Moffitt Medical Group (MMG). The role focuses on evaluation, management, and treatment across a broad GU patient population, with a schedule that transitions to four 10‑hour days after orientation.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, team player, and patient‑focused provider with oncology or urology experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree at minimum; master's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant program.
• Active FL medical license (or ability to obtain one) and certification by the appropriate accreditation body.
• Active BLS; ACLS in addition is a plus (AHA approved).
• Experience in oncology or general internal medicine or urology; oncology/urology specialty preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patient care as a member of an interdisciplinary team, coordinating with specialists to optimize care.
• Correlates subjective and objective data to formulate differential diagnoses.
• Formulates treatment plans within scope of practice.
• May perform minor surgical procedures within scope of practice.
• Prescribes oral and IV medications when appropriate, within scope of practice.
• Documents patient care in accordance with medical staff rules.
