Sharp Rees-Stealy Medical Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its General Surgery Division in San Diego. This 1.0 FTE, outpatient position offers standard Monday–Friday hours or four 10‑hour shifts, with a strong emphasis on independent practice and high-quality patient care.

Requirements include CA NP/PA license, board certification, and a minimum of two years in general surgery.

Formación

• Minimum two years of full-time NP/PA experience in a general surgery setting.
• Active, unrestricted California NP or PA license.
• Board certification in applicable specialty.
• Must be comfortable working independently.
• Procedural experience strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide 100% outpatient care in general surgery.
• Evaluate and manage patients with hernias, gallbladder disease, soft tissue masses, bariatric conditions, and other common general surgery diagnoses.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care and patient education.
