Qualifications

• Two years of facility outpatient coding experience or equivalent
• AHIMA/AAPC certification required or eligible
• Proficiency in CPT/HCPCS/ICD-10-CM/PCS coding and revenue cycle concepts

Responsibilities

• Code hospital outpatient, ED visits, and ambulatory surgery center services
• Identify coding opportunities and recommendations for improvement
• Monitor trends and escalate discrepancies to management
