Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Outpatient Care Dublin seeks an Outpatient RN - Endoscopy (IRP/Contingent) to join the Ambulatory Services team. The role focuses on pre-procedure assessment, sedation monitoring, and coordinating nursing care for procedures in the Endoscopy Unit.

This intermittent position offers first shift, 0.2 FTE, and requires Ohio RN licensure with ADN/BSN education, emphasizing teamwork and patient-centered care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree in nursing or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; current Ohio licensure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients and families.
• Direct and supervise nursing care by the patient care team.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate, and evaluate nursing care.
• Perform pre-procedure assessments and sedation monitoring.
• Provide recovery care, patient education, and discharge planning.
