Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a surgical unit. The RN will manage patient and family care, direct and supervise the patient care team, and coordinate nursing activities across shifts.

This 36-hour/week role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, current Ohio RN licensure, and prior surgical center experience is preferred. Call is rotated; background check and post-offer screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Current Ohio RN licensure or interim permit is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage care to patients and families and direct/supervise the patient care team.
• Assess, prescribe, implement, coordinate, delegating and evaluating nursing care in a surgical setting.
• Participate in rotating call schedules and adapt to post-offer screenings and background checks.
