Job summary

The Ohio State University Outpatient Care Dublin seeks an experienced RN for the Endoscopy unit to provide pre-procedure assessment, procedural support, sedation monitoring, recovery care, education, and discharge planning.

You will work within Ambulatory Services on the OSU Outpatient Surgery Center team, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary staff to ensure safe, quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• The Endoscopy Unit provides specialized outpatient GI procedures with pre-procedure assessment and recovery care.
• RN licensure or interim permit is required in Ohio; prior surgical center experience is preferred.
• The nurse coordinates with physicians and the care team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients and families and supervise other care team members.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care per professional model.
• Support pre-procedure evaluation, sedation monitoring, and discharge planning.

Education

2-year college degree or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree desired

Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing
