Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is hiring an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 program. This role provides comprehensive nursing care coordination, assessment, planning, and evaluation for an assigned patient group within the ESKD team.

No prior RN dialysis experience is required; the CAP program includes 11 weeks of paid, structured training with a Preceptor and a Nurse Educator.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during pre-, during-, and post-dialysis and document changes.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and care plans.
• Provide safe and effective hemodialysis therapy under supervision.
• Administer medications per protocol and document effectiveness.
• Support staff training and onboarding of new personnel.
