Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care AG is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP program. In this role, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive dialysis care for assigned patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, under supervision from experienced clinicians.

You will contribute to team teaching and quality improvement activities, delegate tasks where appropriate, and ensure compliant documentation and patient safety across shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient data collection and documentation for hemodialysis patients.
• Adjusts treatment plan under supervision and communicates with team as needed.
• Educates patients and families about care and disease management.
• Coordinates daily delivery of hemodialysis therapy with care staff.
• Administers medications per protocol and documents effectiveness.
• Provides emergency response when required.
• Serves as a clinical resource and assists with staff training.
• Ensures proper laboratory specimen collection and processing.
