Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). The role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and patient care technicians, document data, adjust care plans, and educate patients and families about disease and treatment options.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current or successful CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing functions under supervision and guidance.
• Collect/analyze patient data during dialysis sessions and document in medical records.
• Educate patients and families about treatment and disease.
• Direct and coordinate safe delivery of hemodialysis with care staff.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Assist with emergency responses and be available for staff training.
