Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for the Float position in Washington. This entry-level role advances through the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) and provides comprehensive care for dialysis patients under supervision.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, and evaluation of patient care, medication administration, and education for patients and families. The position is on-site, full-time, with potential supervision of care staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience; dialysis experience preferred.
• Ability to work with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for dialysis patients.
• Document in medical records and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Provide patient/family education on treatment and transplant options.
• Supervise or assist with Patient Care Technicians as assigned.
