Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care Savannah seeks a professional RN CAP 2 to provide and coordinate high-quality care for patients undergoing hemodialysis. The role includes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, with guidance from the Clinical Educator and team leaders.

Ideal candidates are entry-level RNs with nephrology nursing exposure, capable of mentoring staff, adhering to policies, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the dialysis unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plan; notify team as needed.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and options.
• Direct and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Techs to deliver safe hemodialysis.
• Mentor and support new staff; participate in quality improvement activities.
