Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track, integrating into the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned patient group within the End Stage Kidney Disease care team.

Under supervision, you will collect data during dialysis, adjust plans, and document in the medical record.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.
• Licensure and CPR/BLS certification required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document data collection, adjust treatment plan, and communicate with team as needed.
• Educate patients and families on learning needs and options for transplant and treatment modalities.
