Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level registered nurse for the Outpatient CAP program. The nurse will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

Under supervision, you will collaborate with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians, contribute to staff education, participate in emergency responses, and advance CAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state licensure to practice nursing.
• CPR BLS certification required.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Perform dialysis therapy and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team to update the nursing assessment and plan of care.
• Mentor and orient new staff as assigned.
• Adhere to Fresenius Kidney Care policies, procedures and regulatory standards.

Skills

RN experience (≤2 years)

Hemodialysis experience (preferred)

Education
