Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Rio Rancho, NM seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). The RN provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Responsibilities include collaboration with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and PCTs, administration of medications, and contribution to team education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current or CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned dialysis patients.
• Coordinate care with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and patient care technicians.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and contribute to quality improvement.
