Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in Edgerton, KS seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP). You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group.

Responsibilities include data collection around hemodialysis, education for patients/families, and collaboration with healthcare team. You must have RN licensure and CPR/BLS, with CAP requirements to advance.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.
• Requires minimum 9 months RN experience for supervision eligibility.
• Complies with nursing practice standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care for assigned group.
• Coordinate care and delegate tasks to direct staff as needed.
• Document and monitor hemodialysis treatment and outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and team training.

Skills

RN experience (9+ months)

Nephrology nursing (preferred)

Leadership potential

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state RN licensure

CPR BLS Certification
