Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Kansas seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for dialysis patients, coordinating with the team to ensure safe and effective hemodialysis delivery.

Responsibilities include patient education, medication administration, and emergency response while advancing through the Clinical Advancement Program. Relevant licensure and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and active RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification current or maintained.
• Ability to meet state-specific nursing practice requirements.
• Entry-level RN with nephrology/hemodialysis exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis and adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care, including education for patients and families.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in staff training and orientation.
• Work with Interdisciplinary Team to set and update care plans.
