Fresenius Medical Care Akron is seeking an entry-level registered nurse for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess patients, plan and implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes for an assigned group of patients in a kidney care setting.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet practice requirements in the state of employment.
• Entry level RN with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Aufgaben

• Perform essential nursing duties under supervision and guidance from the Clinical Educator.
• Collect and analyze patient data during hemodialysis; adjust treatment plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care and treatment options.
• Provide safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis with the care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document rationale and outcomes.
• Participate in emergency response measures and staff training.
