Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (CAP 1) in Cape Girardeau, MO to provide and coordinate clinically competent care for a group of patients undergoing hemodialysis. As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease (ESKD) health care team, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians.

Qualifications

• RN with ≤2 years nephrology experience.
• Minimum 9 months RN experience.
• Minimum 3 months dialysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and evaluate care for assigned patients on hemodialysis.
• Document patient data and adjust treatment plans as indicated.
• Administer medications as prescribed and follow approved algorithms.
• Educate patients and families on care and treatment options.
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Team and supervise/mentor care staff.
