Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track in Goldsboro, NC. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of dialysis patients within the CAP program.

Responsibilities include data collection, patient education, collaboration with the health care team, and adherence to policy, procedures, and regulatory standards. CPR/BLS certification and valid RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Must meet state practice requirements.
• Entry-level RN with <2 years nephrology experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis; document in medical records.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Deliver safe hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer medications per orders or approved protocols.
• Participate in emergency response measures as needed.
• Assist with staff training and orientation; uphold policy and standards.
