Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse in the Outpatient CAP. You will provide and coordinate nephrology care for a defined group of patients, participate in education, and contribute to quality improvement within the dialysis setting.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team, you will work under supervision with nurses, techs, and educators, ensuring safe hemodialysis delivery and adherence to policies while pursuing CAP advancement requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current valid state RN license.
• CPR/BLS certified and in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Perform data collection and analysis during dialysis sessions and adjust care plans as needed.
• Coordinate with the care team to provide patient education and immediate safety measures.
• Administer medications per physician orders or approved protocols and document effectiveness.
• Support daily delivery of safe hemodialysis therapy and respond to emergencies.
• Mentor and orient new staff and participate in staff training.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection and processing and follow up on missed collections.

Nephrology nursing (0-2 years)

Hemodialysis experience

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current state licensure
