Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP track to provide and coordinate nephrology care for an assigned patient group. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care, with delegation to licensed staff, as part of the ESKD care team in a dialysis facility.

This role emphasizes education, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and participation in quality improvement activities. CAP requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential functions under supervision with guidance from Clinical Educator, Preceptor or other RNs.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during dialysis and documents in medical record; adjusts care plan as needed.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs and care.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
