Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse CAP 1 to join the outpatient CAP program. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and patient care technicians.

Responsibilities include data collection during hemodialysis, patient education, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective dialysis delivery. Emphasis on continuing CAP requirements to advance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data during the dialysis cycle and document in the medical record.
• Assess learning needs of patients and families and provide education.
• Deliver safe and effective hemodialysis therapy in collaboration with the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.

Education
