Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiographic exams, ensuring patient safety, proper positioning, and image quality. You will verify orders, gather history, and collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic studies.

The position requires completing an Accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT licensure in Radiography and CT, and at least 1 year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.
• ARRT Radiography and CT licenses are required.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history for each exam.
• Perform CT and radiographic exams with correct technique.
• Ensure patient identity, privacy and safety; monitor for adverse reactions.
• Prepare equipment, load contrast and assist radiologists during procedures.
• Restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness and organization.
