Job summary

Wellstar is seeking an Imaging Technologist to perform a variety of CT and radiographic exams, delivering high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The selected candidate will demonstrate proficiency in positioning, dose optimization, and using PACS/RIS to ensure timely study processing and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R and CT certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT and radiographic exams.
• Ensure proper patient identification and consent.
• Monitor patient safety and radiation dose; follow ALARA principles.
• Operate imaging equipment and process studies in PACS/RIS.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging quality.
