Wellstar Health System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and radiography procedures with focus on patient safety and image quality. You will work within the radiology department in Georgia, ensuring accurate positioning, proper documentation, and adherence to radiation safety standards.

The role requires completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and ARRT radiography certification, with opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a busy hospital

Qualifications

• Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1+ year CT or radiography experience preferred.
• ARRT radiography certification required on hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe, age-appropriate care and perform imaging procedures per department procedures.
• Verify orders, obtain patient history, and assess contraindications.
• Ensure proper patient identification and use of markers for all studies.
• Maintain infection control, prepare equipment, and uphold radiation safety standards.
• Communicate with patients and families using AIDET principles.
• Operate CT/radiography equipment and ensure studies are ready for radiologist review.
