Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
• Certification by one of the governing associations (NHA, AMT, AAMA, NAHP, NCCT, AAH, or AMCA) is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and clinical support for physicians in the outpatient setting.
• Performs duties such as preparing patients, collecting information, and documenting in the EMR.
• Supports scheduling, filing, billing inquiries, and administrative tasks for the clinic/department.
• Sets up and cleans examination rooms; assists with procedures and patient safety.
